那天我們兩個人分別點了”常滑壽司套餐”和”益子壽司午間套餐”
下面我會先介紹分享”常滑壽司套餐”,
再分享”益子壽司午間套餐”

We had two people and we ordered Tokoname Station and Mashiko Station.
I will first introduce the Tokoname Station followed by the Mashiko Station.

Note: This is my first time with a sony camera.
Since I am still not familiar with the camera, the quality of the pictures is worse than my camera 🙁

There is a great variety of fruits inside this fruit salad, and it is quite refreshing.

在上桌前, 都會先在魚上刷上醬油
所以品嘗的時候不需要再另外沾醬油

Fresh Station’s nigiri is made with pre-Edo practice.
Before serving, they will first brush soy sauce on the raw fish.
Therefore, there is no need to dip your nigiri into soy sauce before enjoying.

這是【 逸鮮棧 Fresh Station 】的創意料理,
以水果入菜的壽司捲, 裡面分別包有奇異果, 鳳梨, 和芭蕉
因為有海苔, 所以吃起來帶點微鹹
而裡面的水果則帶著本身的甜味
吃起來甜甜鹹鹹, 頗有創意,

This is a creative dish of the Fresh Station.
A sushi roll with fruit fillings, there are kiwi, pineapple, and banana respectively.
Since there is seaweed, the taste is slightly salty.
And because the fruit filling is sweet, the rolls has a sweet and salty taste. Quite creative.

“益子壽司午間套餐”一開始和”常滑壽司套餐”一樣會先送上水果沙拉,
最後也會送上三味水果細卷, 味增湯, 和季節水果
一樣的食物我就不再分享照片了, 主要分享益子壽司午間套餐的其他菜色

The Mashiko Station starts off the same as the Tokoname station with the fruit salad.
It will also end with the three flavor fruit rolls, miso soup, and seasonal fruits.
I won’t share pictures of the same food again, I will mainly share other aspects of the Mashiko Station.

心得

【 逸鮮棧 Fresh Station 】不同於一般的日式料理
這裡的壽司經過巧思會以水果入菜, 算是另類的fusion
那天我們兩個人分別點了”常滑壽司套餐”和”益子壽司午間套餐”
壽司盤上會送上三種小點, 三種小點有漬物或水果
每次提供的都不一樣
【 逸鮮棧 Fresh Station 】的握壽司採江戶前作法
在上桌前, 都會先在魚上刷上醬油
所以品嘗的時候不需要再另外沾醬油
且握壽司都會先做刀切格紋的處理,
魚的肉質都很新鮮軟綿, 入口輕咬幾下魚肉就化開,
慢慢咀嚼可以品嘗出魚油脂所帶來的鮮甜
主打以水果入菜的 【 逸鮮棧 Fresh Station 】
一餐下來真的吃到不少水果
食材都滿新鮮清爽的
整體而言, 我覺得”益子壽司午間套餐”的CP值相對比較高

Verdict

Fresh Station isn’t your ordinary Japanese Sushi Restaurant.
Here they put thoughts into incorporating fruits into their sushi, it is a kind of alternative fusion.
We had two people and we ordered Tokoname Station and Mashiko Station.
They will put 3 kinds of appetizers on your sushi plate which can include pickled items or fruits.
They provide different kinds of appetizers every time.
Fresh Station’s nigiri is made with pre-Edo practice.
Before serving, they will first brush soy sauce on the raw fish.
Therefore, there is no need to dip your nigiri into soy sauce before enjoying.
Fresh Station’s nigiri will always be professed with some knife work.
The fish here are all fresh, tender, and melts in your mouth.
Slowly chewing the fish can taste the sweetness of the fish fat.
Fresh Station emphasizes on having fruit in their dishes.
You really do eat lots of fruits in a meal set.
The ingredients I had today were all fresh and refreshing.
Overall, I feel the Mashiko Station offers more value and its price.

「香川屋讚岐烏龍麵」靠近捷運西湖站2號出口,但實際位置有點隱密,要走到內湖BenQ大樓後門正對的巷子裡。

“Xiang Chuan House Kompira Udon” is located close to subway Neihu station 2nd exit. The actual location is kind of secluded, you have to walk to an alley directly across Neihu’s BenQ building’s rear entrance.

▲走到店門口,我馬上被濃濃日式風味建築驚嚇到,在內科園區裡竟然隱藏這麼日式裝潢的餐廳。

Once I got to the restaurant’s entrance, I was immediately surprised by the pure Japanese-style architecture. There is a building such as this one hidden in the middle of the Neihu technology park.

Not only the outside has Japanese written all over it, the inside is completely decorated with a full Japanese atmosphere.

▲「香川屋讚岐烏龍麵」店內用餐空間很大,很適合團體聚餐。我用餐那天就有一群公司員工在幫同事慶生。

“Xiang Chuan House Kompira Udon” is quite spacious, very suitable for a group setting. When I was dining here, there is a group of company employees here celebrating someone’s birthday.

You can order the Udon in medium and large size. You can choose appropriately based on your appetite.

▲店內採自助式點餐,填完單字後直接拿到櫃台結帳即可。菜單上的標號和點單一致,所以填寫起來很方便。「香川屋讚岐烏龍麵」免收服務費,但有低消$100的要求。

You can order off the sheet above and bring it to the counter to pay. The number above is the same as the number you see in the actual menu, so it is easy to order. “Xiang Chuan House Kompira Udon” doesn’t charge for service, but do have a minimum charge of $100 per person.

Fried tofu (3 pieces)

炸豆腐上灑了滿滿的柴魚片和蔥花,看起來就很好吃

The fried tofu is littered with bonito flakes and scallion, looks tasty already.

▲豆腐外皮很酥脆,裡面的雞蛋豆腐非常滑嫩。搭配上下面的醬料,超級好吃!

The tofu is very crispy on the outside, yet the egg tofu on the inside is quite soft. Very delicious with the sauce on and under the tofu.

Yam Tempura

這個地瓜天婦羅炸的剛好,麵衣不會太厚,吃起來鬆軟香甜。不沾醬也很好吃!

The yam tempura is fried just right, the coating isn’t too thick. It tastes soft and sweet, and I like it even without any sauce.

▲雞唐揚採用雞腿肉去炸,炸的剛好。雞腿肉吃起來多汁富彈性,蠻好吃的。
Deep fried chicken leg meat was fried perfectly. The chicken leg meat was juicy and tender, quite delicious.

Beef Kimchi Udon (medium)

相較「 辛味增雞塊烏龍麵」,「牛肉泡菜烏龍麵」的湯頭清淡許多。裡面的牛肉片吃起來還滿新鮮的。

Compared to the spicy miso chicken udon, the beef kimchi udon is a lot less heavy. The beef taste quite fresh.

心得:
「香川屋讚岐烏龍麵」本身招牌的烏龍麵並沒有讓我很驚豔。是好吃的麵,但總感覺表現很普通,湯頭的部分可以再加強。反倒是配菜的炸豆腐和地瓜天婦羅讓我和朋友讚譽有加!

Verdict:

“Xiang Chuan House Kompira Udon”‘s famous udon wasn’t mind-blowing. The noodle tasted good, just not amazing. The soup base also has room for improvements. It was actually the side-dishes of fried tofu and yam tempura that stole the day and earn the praises of me and my friend.

西湖小立吞的位置交通很便利,它位在西湖市場一樓。

搭捷運文湖線到”西湖站”,走到1號出口,下了手扶梯後,一右轉就是西湖市場一樓的入口。
Its easy to get to ‘Xihu Xiaolitun’ based on its location. It is located at  the first floor of the Xihu market.
You can take the MRT Wenhu line to Xihu station. Take exit 1 and go down the escalator. Then, take a right and you are at the entrance of the Xihu market’s first floor.

西湖小立吞的阿緯師傅曾任職晶華酒店與知名日本料理三井上引水產立吞區的料理師傅,
已經有17年的豐富料理經驗。
阿緯師傅開西湖小立吞,期望帶給顧客們『庶民價格,五星享受』。

You can see the ‘Xihu Xiaolitun’ billboard at the entrance.
The chef of ‘Xihu Xiaolitun’ Ah-Wei worked at Regent Taipei and well-known Cusine Matsui Cusine M, and has 17 years of experiences under his belt.
He opened ‘Xihu Xiaolitun’ hoping to give customers a normal pricing with a 5-star experience.

Even though the seating is cramped and you need to eat standing up, the store has hooks at the bottom to hook your bags.

稍微火烤過的花枝,帶點焦香味,吃起來有些較勁,但卻不覺得單調無味

比目魚鰭邊肉夾的時候要小心,很容易會散掉。口感有點生生熟熟的,魚肉入口即化,很好吃!

炙燒鮭魚腹是我最愛的!油油亮亮的表面看起來好誘人,魚肉厚度切得剛好,入口後還是感覺得到鮭魚的鮮甜!

最後是炙燒干貝。干貝很大很新鮮,炙燒後顯得干貝更為香甜。

炙燒握壽司,每一口都是享受!

Seared squid is chewy and has a smoked taste, quite tasty.

You need to be careful with the flounder since it is easy for it to break part. It has a raw & cooked texture and the fish melts in your mouth, very delicious!

The seared salmon belly is my favorite! The bright and shiny surface is screaming ‘eat me’. The cut was perfect size and you can taste the salmon’s sweetness.

Lastly we have seared scallop, it is quite large and fresh and very sweet after seared.

Seared sushi, I enjoyed every bite of it!

▲這是店家招待的免費味噌湯,裡面的料很豐富!
有蛤蜊和大塊完整魚肉, 非常有誠意。
而且下咸度調的剛好, 超好喝。
Miso soup on the house. It has many ingredients inside.
There are clams and large pieces of fish fillet. More than what you would expect from a free miso soup.
And it is also not too salty, very delicious soup.

心得:雖然西湖小立吞位在市場內,但這個市場很乾淨,不會有菜市場特有的味道。CP值很高的一家日本料理店,高品質的食材讓人每一口都是享受。不過需要立食,大家如果不習慣站著吃,也可以外帶。

In conclusion, even though Xihu Xiaolitun is located in a market, the market is quite clean and doesn’t have your usual supermarket smell. This is a japanese store that has plenty of bang for your bucks, every bite is like heaven due to the high quality ingredients. The only downside is that you have to eat standing up. If you are not up for it, you can order to-go as well.
