其實我知道【 Dozo 】有一段時間了
但一直沒有機會來吃,
最近終於來踩點了.

【 Dozo 】最大的特色就是它的太鼓表演,
每週五、六晚上八點和十點演出
很適合來這裡聚會, 慶祝,和小酌

I actually have known about “Dozo” for quite a while now but never got a chance to eat here. Finally, I recently had a chance to check this place out.

Dozo’s main attraction is its taiko drumming. The taiko drumming event happens at 8pm and 10pm of every Friday and Saturday. This place is suited well for a gathering, celebration, or just to grab a quick drink.

Dozo’s location is convenient to get to. It is about 2 minutes walk from exit 1 of Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station.

Dozo’s main entrance is a very magnificent 2-floor high glass wall. There is also designated parking near the entrance.

You will see a large taiko on the right side when you enter the restaurant. The other taikos are placed near the glass window. The inside of the restaurant is quite dark so be mindful of stairs.

▲一分熟的炭燒和牛肉, 肉質很滑嫩
切成薄片的和牛肉, 搭配上頭泡過水的生洋蔥,很清爽
再沾上柚子橙醋醬, 更加帶出牛肉的鮮甜

The rare charcoaled beef is very tender. The thinly sliced beef along with raw onions that were soaked in water was very refreshing. When you dip it with the yuzu orange vinegar, it really brings out the sweetness of the beef.

Italian udon Alfredo NT$240

I love the Italian udon Alfredo. When I saw this dish, I knew I had to order it. When it came, the waitress saw we were ready without phones and cameras, she advised us that we should take pictures quickly and stir the udon. The Alfredo sauce itself is very creamy. The udon soaked with the sauce is silky smooth and chewy. It is a delicious and creative dish for sure.

讓鮭魚上頭是熟的, 但下方卻仍保佑生魚片的柔軟口感

This dish is a popular dish of the restaurant. The fatty salmon has mayo on top and seared slightly so the top of the salmon is cooked while the bottom still has the raw fish’s soft and chewy texture. There is a slice of seaweed in between the rice to add an extra texture to this dish.

The freshly fried chicken cartilage was still hot when it came out. When I took a bite, it was both crispy and tender at the same time. It is very suited with an alcoholic drink.

I feel that you should always finish with a sweet mochi when you eat at an Izakaya. The mochi was fried until crispy on the outside yet still soft on the inside. It is evenly located with peanut powder and isn’t too sweet and heavy.

Verdict

I highly recommend their Italian udon Alfredo and Caramel Salmon Box Sushi. Both theses dishes are popular creative dishes of the restaurant.

The Alfredo sauce itself is very creamy. The udon soaked with the sauce is silky smooth and chewy.

在東區享用完下午茶的我們, 想要吃一些鹹的東西, 就決定來到市民大道上的 吳留手 . 繼續邊吃邊聊?

After an afternoon tea at the Eastern District, we were craving for something savory. We then decided to come to WuLiuShou located at Civic Blvd to eat and continue chatting.

▲吳留手樓上的位子不是很多, 我們來的時候是禮拜天的六點~因為剛開店, 所以客人還不是很多, 但我們吃完離開時, 樓上樓下都坐滿了人. 還有客人在外面等位.

There aren’t many seats upstair. We came at a Sunday 6pm when the store just opened, so there aren’t many customers yet. However, when we finished eating, the place was packed both upstair and downstair with people waiting outside.

喝起來幾乎沒有酒精味, 比較像蘋果汁. 推薦給不喜歡酒精味的朋友.

I almost couldn’t taste the alcohol in this one, it is more like apple juice. Highly recommend those who don’t like the taste of alcohol.

鹽烤牛小排肉質很嫩,表面醬汁甜甜的很好吃。

the Salt-baked boneless short ribs was very tender, the sauce at the surface is sweet and delicious.

這個醬燒牛五花表面上灑上白芝麻,看起來就很好吃!牛肉熟度烤的剛好,不會太老,鹹鹹甜甜的醬汁很入味。很推薦。

The sauce-baked beef shank skewer was covered by white sesame, looks tasty already. The beef was baked perfectly and not too old. The salty and sweet sauce is well flavored. I recommended giving this a try.

大推薦!吃之前要先將中間那坨紅色明太子拌進去。拌勻之後,就可以開動了!烏龍麵煮的剛好,QQ的很彈牙。店家醬給的很足,拌勻後每根烏龍麵都包裹著明太子白醬,白醬超級濃郁,每一口都吃得到明太子。好吃到停不下來!

I highly recommend this dish! You should stir the cod roe in the middle into the udon before eating it. The udon was cooked just right, quite chewy but not too soft. The sauce was plentiful and every strand of udon was covered by the cod roe alfredo sauce. the alfredo sauce was creamy and you can taste the cod roe with every bite, I literally could not stop eating this!

烤完的杏鮑菇不會很乾,依舊鮮嫩多汁,還保有杏鮑菇的香氣

The baked king mushroom wasn’t too dry and kept lots of its moistures and king’s mushroom taste

肥腸有先滷過,滷的很夠味,烤完之後外酥內軟,吃起來好吃不油膩

The intestine was braised first and then baked for a crispy surface and soft inside. It was very flavorful and not too oily.

雞翅皮烤的剛好,不會吃到雞皮軟軟感覺,裡面肉很嫩

The chicken skin was baked just right, not too soft and not too crispy. The meat is tender.

松阪豬肉質比較瘦,吃起來QQ脆脆的,不會覺得油膩。

櫻花蝦炒高麗菜是一道我很愛的料理,脆脆的高麗菜因為鹹鹹的櫻花蝦顯得更為清甜!吃那麼多肉,需要蔬菜來調節一下?

Stir-fry cabbage with sakura shrimp is one of my favorite dish, the crispy cabbage taste even sweeter due to the salty sakura shrimp. After all the meats, need some veggies to balance it ?

表面的明太子烤的微焦,厚厚一層明太子看起來很厲害。但吃起來有些失望。裡面的雞肉很乾,入口後明太子和雞肉就分離了,沒有結合在一起的口感。

The cod roe at the surface is slightly burnt. While the thick layer of cod roe looks amazing, I was slightly disappointed when I had a bite. The chicken was too dry and also separate away from the cod roe once bitten off the skewer.

沒有特別印象的一道料理, 等我想起來拍的時候已經被先吃了 ?

Don’t have much recollection about this dish. When I remember to take a picture, it had already been eaten. ?

這道很推薦!外酥內軟,蟹肉也很多。

I recommend this dish. Lots of crab meat. The outside is crispy while the inside is tender.

我很愛節瓜,烤完的節瓜依舊爽口好吃,上面的鹽更加帶出節瓜的甜,很推薦

I love squash. The baked squash is still refreshing and delicious and the salt brings out more of squash’s sweetness. I recommend this dish.

蔥有點烤太焦,但雞皮烤的剛剛好,脆脆的雞皮內雞肉還是很嫩,咬下還會噴汁!

The onions was slightly too burnt, but the chicken was baked just right. You can taste the crispy chicken skin and tender chicken meat, and juicy as well.

心得:個人還是比較喜歡打鐵町的串燒。不過吳留手相較起來價位比較低。整體而言,吳留手的串燒都還不錯吃。最推薦的是醬燒牛五花肉串,酥炸軟殼蟹,鹽烤節瓜。明太子白醬炒烏龍也是必點的。

這裡生意不錯,要來吃的朋友最好先訂位免得等待。

Overall, I prefer Party Team Yakitori Caffe & Bistro‘s skewers, but WuLiuShou’s pricing is slightly cheaper. Overall, the skewers are decent. I would recommend getting the salt-baked beef shank, fried soft crab, salt-baked squash. You must try the udon with alfredo sauce and cod roe as well. This place gets quite busy, I would make a reservation first if you want to give it a try

打鐵町49番地,這間位在捷運中山站和雙連站中間的居酒屋是朋友找到的。
Party Team Yakitori Caffe & Bistro is located between MRT Zhongshan station and Shuanglian station, and was found and suggested by my friend.

Because we don’t mind sharing tables, we didn’t’ need to wait for a seat. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere with its dim lighting and Japanese music.

Here is the small open kitchen cramped with 3-4 chefs. The service is quite fast though.

店裡空間不大,所以桌子下面提供竹籃給客人放東西。因為我當天還帶著一盒買給朋友的禮物,店家發現我放不進去,也發現是禮物,貼心的跟我說他幫我放在另一個地方不會壓到,但我要記得跟他拿 ?

Since the restaurant itself is cramped, the restaurant provides baskets below your table for storing your personal belongings. The waitress saw that I could not fit a gift I bought for my friend into the basket and nicely offered to put it somewhere else safe for me, as long as I remember to get it back from her. ?

一入口就驚為天人, 濃郁的柚子香在嘴裡散開,喝起來酸酸甜甜。非常爽口好喝!

 This alcoholic drink tasted amazing! The flavorful yuzu smell and its sour and sweet taste was very refreshing and delicious!

這是店員推薦的特調, 但發現我不愛後有換柚子酒給我. 小小讚許一下他們的服務.

A waitress recommended this cocktail to me, but I did not like it. When they found out I didn’t like it, they switched it out for a yuzu shu at no cost.  Big plus to their customer service.

鮮甜的烤玉米筍上面灑上香鬆,一入口就驚呼好吃! 一口咬下去感受得到清脆的滋味,也讓我們胃口大開!

Freshly baked baby corn with shiang song was sweet and delicious tasting! Every bite was pleasing and appetizing.

因為朋友不愛肥肉,所以我們沒有點店員推薦的「鹽烤三層肉」,而是選擇肉質比較瘦的「味增松阪豬」. 外表烤的些許焦的松阪豬配上甜甜鹹鹹的味增醬和嗆辣的蔥花,是一道重口味的料理,很適合下酒!只是肉質稍微有點太硬,咬到後面嘴巴有點酸。

Since my friend isn’t fond of fatty meats, so we didn’t order the ‘salt baked pork belly’ recommended by the waitress. Instead, we ordered the ‘Miso Matsusaka Pork’ which had leaner meat. The crispy surface, sweet and sour miso sauce, and scallion made it a heavy dish and very complimentary to alcohol. However, the meat was slightly too dry and my mouth was kind of sore from all the chewing.

蛤蠣湯簡單的以薑絲、蔥、九層塔、和酒提味,喝起來很清甜,也喝得出濃濃的酒味!一整碗滿滿的蛤蠣,也讓我們吃的很滿足.

The clam soup is made with ginger, scallion, basil, and wine. You can taste the sweetness of the calm and the wine as well. The bowl was full with clams and very satisfying.

登登登!隆重推薦這道!這是今晚我覺得最好吃的串燒!這道料理要趁熱趕快吃。一口咬下,包裹在雞腿肉外的明太子美乃滋就在嘴裡化開,因為是雞腿肉,所以肉質特別嫩。明太子的海鮮味和雞肉的肉汁在嘴裡擴散開來,超級搭的,也讓這道料理榮登第一名寶座!?

(Drumroll please…) Highly recommended this dish, this is the best skewer of the night! You must have this while it is still hot. When you take a bite, the mentaiko mayo on the outside of the chicken melts in your mouth. Since is chicken lege, the meat is also very tender. The mentaiko’s flavor and chicken are just amazing together and hence my #1 dish of the night! ?

烤香菇雖然很常見, 但是烤的好不好吃也需要技巧。
打鐵町49番地的烤香菇沒有因為燒烤而乾扁流失水分,
每顆都飽滿而且將水分緊緊的被鎖在裡頭,
搭配簡單的調味帶出菇本身的甜味

Grilled mushroom is common, but it is still a skill to roast it right.
The grilled mushroom here did not lose water by grilling.
Each individual mushroom lock the water inside.
Along with simple seasoning, they brought out the mushroom’s innate mushroom.

▲烤鮭魚飯團 Baked salmon onigiri (rice ball) NT65

我個人很喜歡烤飯糰,很著迷於烤飯糰外面那層鍋巴。但這個烤飯糰相比其他,我覺得顯得遜色許多,不是很推薦。

I personally like baked onigiri in general since I am fond of the rice crust on the surface of the onigiri. However, this onigiri is just average in my opinion compared to other onigiris I’ve had before.

▲烤麻糬 Baked Mochi NT90

吃完鹹的,想吃個甜的作完美ending。表皮烤至微焦的麻糬裹滿煉乳,沾上花生粉。一入口讓人感受到烤麻糬特有的焦香味,好好吃!也讓這一餐畫下完美的句點!

After all the savory dishes, we wanted to have a sweet dish for a perfect ending to our dinner. The surface is baked until brown and the mochi is filled with condensed milk. Before you eat it you would cover it with the peanut powder. You can taste the baked mochi’s one-of-a-kind charred smell, so delicious! This ended our meal perfectly.

這一餐我們吃了NT 1150,應該是有加收一成服務費。算是不便宜的居酒屋,但幾乎無地雷!讓我默默加入口袋名單!

Overall we spent NT 1150 for two people, I am guessing there is a 10% tip added. This is on the expensive side, but I didn’t have anything that I didn’t like. I am adding this place to my  pocket-list.!
