這週末舅舅在新北市藝文中心藝文館有作品展出,
在參加完舅舅的分享會後,
一大家族的人決定到附近的【大和院客家菜】聚餐.

This weekend my uncle has an art exhibition at the New Taipei City Performing Art Center. After attending the exhibition, our family decided to eat together at “DaHeYuan Hakka Restaurant”

“DaHeYuan Hakka Restaurant” is located at No. 153, Section 2, Wenhua Rd, Banqiao District, New Taipei City. I recommend placing a reservation ahead of time.

  

▲店裡的裝潢很古色古香,整體色系以金色和紅色為主, 非常的喜氣, 家裡長輩應該都很愛這樣的配色.

The restaurant has a retro feel to it. The decorations is mainly in gold and red and full of joy. The elders of the family most likely love this kind of color scheme.

▲焗雞拼鹽豬肉 Baked chicken with salty pork

焗雞肉質很棒, 不會太硬或是太軟. 鹽豬肉長輩說是客家咸豬肉, 但我覺得吃起來還好, 不夠香.

The quality of the chicken was great, it wasn’t too hard or soft. The elders of the family said the salty pork is Hakka style pork. However, I find is so-so as it was lacking flavor.

大火快炒海瓜子, 讓海洋的鮮味釋出, 加上濃郁的九層塔. 好吃!

The clams was stirred until the freshness of the ocean flavor came out. Along with the basil, it was very delicious.

酸酸甜甜的調味讓小表弟們超愛~排骨有先稍微炸鍋, 但不像一些店家會裹上過多的麵粉, 這裡的排骨可以直接吃到肉, 而且店家選擇比較瘦的部分, 所以吃起來不會油膩.

The sour and sweet flavor were a huge hit for my little cousins. The ribs were fried first, but they did not use lots of bread crumbs so you can taste the meat right away. Also, the restaurant chose a leaner meat so it is not too greasy.

蹄膀燉到皮Q肉嫩而且很入味, 梅干醬汁不會死鹹反而回甘. 只是肥肉的部分讓愛美的女生有些膽怯

Pork knuckle is braised until the skin is chewy and flavorful. The prune sauce isn’t too salty and has a sweet aftertaste. However, the fatty part of the meat can make girls who love to stay pretty back away.

客家小炒是吃客家菜必點的菜色! 今天的客家小炒魷魚的部分我有些失望, 太乾太硬. 除此之外, 整個味道很夠, 超級下飯!

Hakka stir-fry is a must order at a Hakka restaurant. The squid part is a little bit disappointing due to being too dry and too hard. Beside this, it was very flavorful and good with rice.

我超愛鮮蚵下面的板條!! 吸收滿滿醬汁的板條, 吃起來還是很Q彈. 唯一要抱怨的是我用筷子的技術, 哈哈哈哈, 一直夾不太起來, 需要和湯匙一起配合

I loved the noodle below to oyster. The noodle has absorbed the sauce yet still very chewy. The only thing to complain is my lack of chopstick skill lol. I had lots of trouble using chopstick to pick up the noodles so I used spoon to help out.

大火快炒的時蔬, 油油亮亮, 可以中和前面幾道菜的油膩

Stir-fry seasonal vegetable has an oily and shiny appearance, it neutralizes some of the greasiness from the previous dishes.

炸的很到位, 表皮酥脆, 一口咬下, 皮和魷魚的地方也不會分離.

Fried quite well. The skin is crispy and when you tak a bite, the skin and squid does not come apart.

這個雞湯是用烏骨雞熬煮搭配老菜脯. 湯喝起來很多層次, 感覺雞肉的精華都在湯裡面了. 湯的部分還可以續哦!

This chicken soup used black bone chicken with old raddishes. The soup has different layer of flavor. I feel the essense of chicken is all in the soup. You can refill the soup part.

吃之前要拌一下上面的肉燥, 高麗菜吃起來很清脆, 不是那種爛爛的高麗菜, 我喜歡!

Before eating, you need to stir in the rouzao (pork) that is on top. The cabbage is still crisp and not soft, I love it.

心得:
整體來說,今天每道菜我都很喜歡! 幾乎每道菜都很下飯. 特別推薦他們的: 蒜泥蒸鮮蚵 (吸收滿滿醬汁的板條, 吃起來還是很Q彈),  梅干蹄膀 ( 蹄膀燉到皮Q肉嫩而且很入味, 梅干醬汁不會死鹹反而回甘), 老菜圃雞湯 (這個雞湯是用烏骨雞熬煮搭配老菜脯, 湯喝起來很多層次). 【大和院客家菜】的每道菜分量都很足夠, 價位也在合理範圍! 我們今天吃的經濟合菜, 差不多3~4千 適合8~10個人. 他們也有宴客桌菜, 差不多是6千~1萬3. 【大和院客家菜】非常適合聚餐, 而且人多才可以吃到比較多菜色!

Verdict:

Overall, I enjoy every dish I had today! Almost all the dishes goes very well with rice. I espeically recommend their garlic steamed oyster (noodles that is chewy and flavorful), Pork knuckle with prune sauce (Pork knuckle is braised until tender and flavorful, the sauce isn’t too salty and have a sweet after taste) Old raddish chicken soup (This chicken soup used black bone chicken with old raddishes, has a different layers of flavor. Every dish at the DaHeYuan Hakka Restaurant has a large portion for a reasonable price! Our economical family-style dishes tonight was about 3-4 thousand NT and is good for 8-10 people. They also have banquet sets for 6000-13000NT. DaHeYuan Hakka restaurant is very suited for a gathering, especially for large groups since you can taste more variety of dishes.
