天氣冷的時候,吃一碗熱騰騰的牛肉麵也是一個不錯的選擇。
晚餐和爸爸媽媽來吃皇家傳承牛肉麵

When its cold outside, eating a bowl of hot beef noodle soup is quite a nice choice. Today, I came with my parents to have the “Royal-House Beef Noodle Soup”. They have stores in 5 different locations, you can check here for the addresses.

We ate at the store located at Banqiao Chongcing Rd.

When you walk in, you can see the numerous awards this place has won. Looks like the beef noodle soup should be amazing!

爸爸決定試試看–現炸新鮮排骨麺
Since I am here, of course I am going to order the award-winning beef noodle soup. However, my dad decided to try Pork Chop noodle soup.

There are self-serving appetizers stored in the fridge. (30$ per dish)
▲醬油膏和醋都是自己另外淋上去,大家可以根據自己喜好來加。
小菜整體感覺蠻普通
You can add the condensed soy sauce and vinegar to your taste.
To me, the appetizers are nothing special.

Tea is also self serving, the store offers free unlimited Nantou Oolong Tea.

The tea is strong and delicious, no wonder people come here only to buy tea.

得獎的牛肉果然和一般的不一樣!半筋半肉的牛肉很嫩,就算是牙齒不好的人也和適合。
湯頭不會很鹹, 以紅燒來說, 算滿清淡的,
吃完之後也不會口渴(應該是沒有放味精,我是一個吃到味精會很容易口渴的人)
麵有四種可以挑選:家常、陽春、細麵、冬粉。今天我選的是陽春麵.
Beef Noodle Soup that won 1st place in the 2012 contest. (Medium costs $200)
Award winning Beef Noodle Soup tastes out of this world. The half-tendon half-beef is very tender, even suited for those with bad teeth.
Even though its braised, the soup was not salty. I was not thirsty at all after finishing the noodle-soup. (I tend to get thirsty when I consume MSG, so perhaps the dish is MSG-free)
You can also choose from 4 different kinds of noodle: home-style, plain, thin, glass. I choose the plain noodle for today.
▲愛吃酸菜的我,一定要加上滿滿的酸菜!他們的酸菜不會很酸,個人喜歡酸一點的!
I can’t say how much I love pickled cabbage, therefore, I put a massive amount of pickled cabbage on my beef-noodle soup. Their pickled cabbage is not very sour though, I personally like pickled cabbage to be more sour.

排骨有先醃過,我覺得有點太咸了, 個人比較推薦牛肉麵
My dad’s pork chop noodle soup’s pork chop came on the side.
the pork chop was marinated first, I personally feel its a bit on the salty side, I would recommend the beef-noodle soup over this.

整體來說200塊的冠軍牛肉麵很值得來吃,
而排骨麵不是我的菜。
店家服務很好,而且整家店很乾淨,對用餐體驗加蠻多分的!
The waitresses works hard to replenish napkins and clean condiments bottles. These small details is what separates a great restaurant from a good restaurant.
Overall, the 200$ beef-noodle soup was worth its value, and the pork-chop noodle soup is just does not suit my taste. The service was great, the restaurant was clean, which just adds to an already wonderful meal experience.
