會來【 Basil, Le Bistrot 】吃晚餐其實是個插曲
本來我是想來吃早午餐的
但我眼花把”全英式早餐”看成”全日早午餐”
但也因為這個插曲,
讓我有機會品嘗到【 Basil, Le Bistrot 】的晚餐

Having dinner at “Basil, Le Bistrot” was a blessing in mistake.
I actually came with the intention of having brunch.
I mistakenly took the Chinese sentence “All English Breakfast” for “All-day brunch”
But it is because of this, I got a chance to try dinner at Basil’s Le Bistrot.

搭乘捷運至忠孝新生站2號出口, 出來以後穿過公園, 即可看到餐廳

Basil, Le Bistrot is located near Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station.
Take the subway to Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station and take exit 2. After exiting the station, cross the park and you will see the restaurant.

▲一開始看到卡布奇諾這個名字讓我很好奇會是什麼樣子的口感
原來是濃稠的牛肝菌洋菇湯搭配黑松露奶蓋
完全就是卡布奇諾般的口感
加入松露後的牛肝菌洋菇湯,香氣濃郁
無論是單喝還是搭配上一旁的法國手工麵包都很美味

When I saw the name “cappuccino” I was curious what kind of flavor this dish would have.
It turns out to be creamy cep (porcini) mushroom soup with black truffle espuma.
It has the same flavor as a cappuccino!
With the truffle added to the creamy porcini mushroom soup, it was so deliciously smelling.
Tasting the soup by itself or with the French bread are both amazing.

拿炸的酥脆的薯條沾取
一口送進嘴裡, 讓松露的香氣充滿整個口腔
【 Basil, Le Bistrot 】的松露薯條很特別在於不僅有一般的馬鈴薯還有地瓜
地瓜甜甜的滋味搭配鹹香的松露醬碰撞出不一樣的火花

First, combine the poached egg with the black truffle an cep espuma.
Then dip it with the fried crispy fries.
When you take a bite, the delicious taste of the truffle quickly fills your mouth.
Basil, Le Bistrot’s truffle fries is special since it has sweet potato fries as well as regular potato fries.
The sweetness of the sweet potato fries with the savory truffle combined to create something truly special.

▲雖然這道料理有黑松露馬鈴薯泥
但其實沒有什麼明顯的松露味
油封之後的鴨腿保留最原汁的風味
經過低溫烘烤後的鴨肉非常軟嫩
一旁的加州梅可以綜合鴨皮的油膩
芝麻葉和榛果則顯得只是裝飾

Even though this dish has black truffle mashed potatoes,
I couldn’t really taste the truffle flavor.
The confit process allows the duck leg to retain the most natural flavor.
After baking with low temperature, the duck leg was very tender.
The prunes on the side can neutralize the oiliness of the duck.
The rocket leaves and hazelnut seems to be only decoration.

心得

雖然我一開始是想吃【 Basil, Le Bistrot 】的早午餐
但因為自己看錯Menu,
也讓我意外有機會品嘗他們的晚餐
今晚整個走松露路線 ?
三道料理表現都很棒:

“牛肝菌蘑菇卡布奇諾”
濃稠的牛肝菌洋菇湯搭配黑松露奶蓋, 香氣濃郁
無論是單喝還是搭配上一旁的法國手工麵包都很美味

“松露薯條”
拿炸的酥脆的薯條沾取濃郁的牛肝菌黑松露奶蓋和溫泉蛋後
一口送進嘴裡, 讓松露的香氣充滿整個口腔
【 Basil, Le Bistrot 】的松露薯條很特別在於不僅有一般的馬鈴薯還有地瓜
地瓜甜甜的滋味搭配鹹香的松露醬碰撞出不一樣的火花

“自製油封宜蘭鴨腿”
雖然這道料理有黑松露馬鈴薯泥
但其實沒有什麼明顯的松露味
油封之後的鴨腿保留最原汁的風味
經過低溫烘烤後的鴨肉非常軟嫩
一旁的加州梅可以綜合鴨皮的油膩

整體來說今晚意外讓自己享受了優雅英式風的晚餐

Verdict

Even though I came with the intention to enjoy brunch at Basil, Le Bistrot,
but I got a chance to try out their dinner due to me seeing the menu wrong.
Today I had the truffle lineup ? . All 3 dishes I tried today were delicious.

“Cep and Mushroom Cappuccino”
With the truffle added to the creamy porcini mushroom soup, it was so deliciously smelling.
Tasting the soup by itself or with the French bread are both amazing.
